These sites explain how to Student Aid helps individuals finance their education. Find information about how student loans work, details about grants and bursaries (which you don't have to repay), and how to apply. There's also a loan calculator tool to see how much assistance a student qualifies for.

Manitoba Student Aid

Manitoba Student Loans are interest-free and payment free while you maintain your full-time student status and for six months after your studies end. When you fill out the online application you are automatically applying for Manitoba and Canada student aid.

Canada Student Financial Assistance Program

Eligibility for these grants (money/awards you DON'T have to pay back) is based on last year’s level of income in addition to your assessed need as indicated on your Manitoba Student Aid application.
